چکیده
The 6.4 s X-ray pulsar 1E 1048.1–5937 was observed by BeppoSAX in 1997 May. This source belongs to the class of “anomalous” pulsars which have pulse periods in range 5–11 s, show no evidence of optical or radio counterparts, and exhibit long-term increases in pulse period. The phase-averaged 0.5–10 keV spectrum can be described by an absorbed powerlaw and blackbody model. The best-fit photon index is 2.5±0.2 and the blackbody temperature and radius are 0.64±0.01 keV and 0.59 ± 0.02 km (for a distance of 3 kpc), respectively. The detection of blackbody emission from this source strengthens the similarity with two of the more well studied “anomalous” pulsars, 1E 2259+586 and 4U 0142+614. There is no evidence for any phase dependent spectral changes. The pulse period of 6.45026 ± 0.00001 s implies that 1E 1048.1–5937 continues to spin-down, but at a slower rate than obtained from the previous measurements in 1994 and 1996.

The Physicochemical Properties of Starch Component of six Iranian Rice Cultivars
Using a wide range of techniques, including differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction, Rapid Visco Analyser and Fourier Transform Infera Red Spectroscopy, some physicochemical properties of the starch fraction of six Iranian rice cultivars (Tarom, Tarome Hashemi, Neda, Ramezani, Fajr and Kamfirouzi) [1]were studied and compared. DSC data showed that starch granules of different rice ...
متن کاملA comparative study of Cu(П) and Pb(П) adsorption by Iranian bentonite (Birjand area) in aqueous solutions
Heavy metals such as Cu(II) and Pb(II) are among the hazardous pollutants that lead to severe ecological problems and have a toxic effect on living organisms. The removal of Cu(II) and Pb(II) by Iranian bentonite experiment were conducted in single component and multi component systems. The bentonite from the Birjand area was characterized by X-ray diffraction pattern and FTIR spectroscopy. The...
متن کاملThe edge tenacity of a split graph
The edge tenacity Te(G) of a graph G is dened as:Te(G) = min {[|X|+τ(G-X)]/[ω(G-X)-1]|X ⊆ E(G) and ω(G-X) > 1} where the minimum is taken over every edge-cutset X that separates G into ω(G - X) components, and by τ(G - X) we denote the order of a largest component of G. The objective of this paper is to determine this quantity for split graphs. Let G = (Z; I; E) be a noncomplete connected split...
متن کاملCompression of Breast Cancer Images By Principal Component Analysis
The principle of dimensionality reduction with PCA is the representation of the dataset ‘X’in terms of eigenvectors ei ∈ RN of its covariance matrix. The eigenvectors oriented in the direction with the maximum variance of X in RN carry the most relevant information of X. These eigenvectors are called principal components [8]. Ass...

متن کاملSpectrophotometric Determination of Acidity Constants of Thiamine in Water, Water-Triton X-100 Micellar Media Solutions
In this work the acidity constants of Thiamine in water and water-Triton X-100 micelle media solutions, at 25 °C, have been determined spectrophotometrically. To evaluate the pH- absorbance data, a resolution based on the combination of soft-and hard-modeling is applied. The acidity constants of all related equilibria are estimated using the whole spectral fitting of the collected data to a...
